About Istana foundation

Istana Social Development Foundation Inc. was established as a non-profit foundation on July 2000. The foundation aims to help the marginalized communities in cooperation with the group of companies the founder has established. The vision of providing primary needs as a corporate social responsibility has always been challenging and inspiring to a proponent whose thoughts and intentions are pure and in accordance to the dictates of Christian Teachings. Life has always been good and something novel and remarkable are worth sharing to others especially to the poorest of the poor. This gives a proponent's heart full of joy which says "accomplished" through reaching and making lives better and even much better.

Istana Foundation is an active advocate in providing school buildings, school supplies, bags, slippers, umbrellas, school miscellaneous fees, feeding program, health center, medical missions, relief goods, community pantries, traditional Christmas groceries gift-giving, job opportunities thru livelihood programs and tree planting, and scholarship program to deserving children of partner-companies' employees.

Thus, Istana Foundation contributes solution to eliminate poverty, hunger, social injustices, ignorance and joblessness thru livelihood program and micro-financing activities and tree-planting. A transformed community with sustainable economic activities free from ignorance and illiteracy, conscious about preserving mother earth thru tree planting will do more for the world and the world to do good for every one of us.
