Our organization is involved in numerous projects

The first school built in Sitio Olpoy, Bitago, Brgy. Amungan, Iba Zambales in October 2010 whose main beneficiaries are students from the indigenous tribe. Going to school used to be an 11-kilometer journey, crossing over rampaging waters during typhoon season. The governor of Zambales replicated this initiative thus putting up a high school beside our “School of Hope 1”. Also, the Spanish Red Cross replaced our installed improvised water system with a permanent one.

The second school built in 2013 at Brgy. Dampay Salaza, Palauig, Zambales for the pre-school children from the indigenous tribes. School used to be an 18 kilometer walk. Now, “School of Hope 2” is right next to their doorstep. Used toys and books are also given along with school supplies, bags and sandals.

Rebuilt into a permanent concrete structure in 2013, the Day Care Center in Plaza Aldea has now become a conducive place for children to study and a comfortable venue for recreational activities.

Catering to Sitio Bathala, Balimbing, and other neighboring sitios and barangays, this concrete health center accomodating indigents with common illness since 2013 with a professional nurse regularly attending to them

Several doctors from The Philippine Heart Center for Asia and Lung Center of the Philippines, Medical Mission, the Office of the Rizal Provincial Governor, Medical Corps of the 2nd Infantry Division of Philippine Army have been instrumental in making this project a reality. To date, 522 people have been reached by this activity.

Scholarships in the form of school supplies, school bags, umbrellas, slippers, school miscellaneous fees and graduation attire in public schools. 700 students in 12 different schools in Iba, Botolan and Palauig of Zambales province, in La Trinidad, Benguet and in Tanay, Rizal benefit yearly from this undertaking. They would otherwise not be able to go to school because of lack of money to buy these necessities for education.

Since 2011, grade school students from Iba, Botolan and Palauig, Zamables and Plaza Aldea, Tanay, Rizal public schools are the primary beneficiaries of this program. Around 2,000 students are fed regularly every year to ensure their proper concentration while in class.

Deserving children of executives and employees of benefactor companies (all of which are owned by the Chairman of ISDF) are awarded scholarships in their preferred school, grade school to college. Some scholars are in Ateneo de Manila, University of Sto. Tomas (UST) and other reputable schools. Several graduates topped the government exams. Scholarship is in the form of tuition, school miscellaneous and books.

 

 

Groceries are being given since 2011 during Christmas Season to poor people living under the bridges in Metro Manila and in the remote areas in Zambales, Tanay, Rizal, San Jose, Tarlac, Malasiqui, Pangasinan and Beckel, La Trinidad, Benguet. Yearly, some 800 recipients experience the traditional “Noche Buena”.

We help the flood victims during calamities like typhoon “Ondoy”, “Habagat”, “Taal Eruption” and other typhoon disasters. The relief goods distributed to hundreds of evacuees in the flooded areas were canned sardines, instant noodles, rice and medicines for common ailments. During the COVID-19 Pandemic we create a Community Pantry for less fortunates families that has been affected by the virus.

Istana Foundation’s contributions to organizations resonate like a symphony of positive change, harmonizing compassion, commitment, and community impact for a brighter and more inclusive future.

Established in June 2013 in Tanay, Rizal, full scholarships are awarded to indigent but bright children giving them access to quality education. Patterned from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila where only the best and brightest are enrolled for free.

 

The Foundation built the Livelihood Building for the needy and jobless. Using the sewing machines and other equipment available, families are given opportunities to augment their income. -Bakasyunan Resorts in Tanay, Rizal and Iba, Zambales ( a benefactor of ISDF) The resorts provide jobs in their respective localities like construction workers, cooks, waiters, linen girls, cashiers, receptionists, etc.

Built on February 21, 1998, a make over was done to transform Our Lady of Black Madonna Church into a more decent house of worship, Regular weekly masses are held since its inauguration on August 25, 2019, The feast day of Black Madonna
